Truffle season has been one of the most exciting things during winter at SOUL Dining for two years now and this year, we will bring these seasonal specialties to SOUL Deli as well!
It was most important to us that our team understands truffles as well as we can so that we offer the best experience to you. For that, we went to Robertson NSW, on a team truffle hunt and team building weekend – Sunday to Tuesday, so more like a hospitality weekend 🙂 – where we had a hands-on experience in finding and unearthing the black gold! We crawled, smelled dirt and then as a reward got to taste the season’s first truffles – and we can tell you, this season is going to be spectacular!
At the Deli, we are going to revive SOUL Dining’s truffle bestsellers: The Truffle Egg Bread, a spin on the Korean street food Gyeran-bbang, and the Truffle Mushroom Tteokbokki. We will also have truffled drinks on the menu, stay tuned for May’s take on the Korean trend peanut latte that we call ‘Truffle Dirty Nutty Latte’.
Our plan is to start the season at Deli first, as early as next week if everything goes right 🙂
